Desktop Application Developer — Tuticorin R&D Hub

Role Overview

Develop mission-critical, offline-capable desktop software systems for hospital OPDs, industrial weighbridge automation, retail point-of-sale, and logistics fleets.

Department: Engineering | Experience: 1 - 4 Years | Location: Pearl Plaza, Tuticorin (On-Site)

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain high-performance Windows desktop applications using C#, .NET, WPF, or Electron
• Interface directly with hardware peripherals including weighbridge digital indicators, barcode scanners, thermal receipt printers, and RFID readers
• Design local offline SQLite / SQL Server databases with seamless background cloud sync
• Optimize application launch speeds, memory footprints, and fault-tolerant continuous operations
• Package, test, and deploy automated desktop software installers with silent auto-updates

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in desktop software engineering (C# / .NET / WPF / WinForms or Electron / C++)
• Hands-on experience with hardware COM port serial communication (RS-232, USB, thermal printers)
• Strong skills in relational databases (SQL Server, SQLite, or PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of multithreading, asynchronous I/O, and offline-first software architectures
• Methodical debugging and troubleshooting mindset for mission-critical industrial deployments
